I work with my muse, Buddy James, at my feet. From A.M. till P.M. I write and design, or think about writing and designing. My personal essays are in The New York Times, book anthologies, and many other magazines and blogs. My articles include dogs, entertainment, personal essay, travel, book reviews and author profiles. I'm a Dorri-of-all-trades: freelance writer, editor, website designer and social media consultant. I help people stand out online. When I was little I wrote stories and drew pictures, with my dog nearby. Not much has changed and that's why I love my work!
