Cheryl Lock

As a girl, there was nothing Cheryl wanted be more than a veterinarian, and nothing she wanted to own more than a puppy. All the goldfish, turtles, and hamsters in the world were not enough - only a puppy would do. Her parents always said no, even after she did what every budding journalist would - purchased the most comprehensive book known to man about dogs and researched every one until she came up with the best that would suit her family. The answer was still no. Cheryl's parents changed their minds and took in the cutest Sheltie puppy you ever saw after she went to college, but that's okay. She wasn't mad. Instead, she's started taking on her own pets, which have now included two bunnies and a cat. And while her dream of becoming a vet gave way to a new one of being a journalist, she can still write about animals, which she does with a passion here at Petside.
