A: It is extremely important that you get to your veterinarian as soon as possible. Your cat has an infection and will need antibiotics. If left untreated for too long the infection can extend down to the bone and become a much bigger problem. In the meantime, it is ok to clean the foot with peroxide and soak it in warm water.

i have also noticed that my cats center pad is swollen on her front right paw.. i have looked at it very carefully and have not seen anything or felt anything inside of it.. it does not look like there is any pus but i am very worried.. not only that but it seems to switch from the left front paw to the right front paw... i am very worried and am making an appointment with the vet
