Westminster Group Winners, So Far

Check out the group winners from Monday at Westminster.With so many adorable and immaculately groomed pooches prancing around Madison Square Garden on Monday, it seemed impossible to discern which would win the Best of Group and get a chance at the ultimate blue ribbon.

But as the judging came to a late-night close, with more to come on Tuesday, four dogs stood apart:

Hound Group

GCh. Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, a fetching female Scottish Deerhound won the Hound Group.

In second came a Beagle named GCh. Torquay Midnight Confession. A Norwegian Elkhound named GCh. Vin-Melca's Voyager came in third and a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen named GCh. Celestial CJ's Hearts On Fire came in fourth.

Toy Group

GCh. Palacegarden Malachy, a perky, male Pekingese won the Toy Group.

An Affenpinscher named GCh. Banana Joe V Tani Kazari came in second. a Pug named Ch. Xoe's Oscar De La Hoya came in third and a Papillon named Ch. Copella's Rising Attraction came in fourth.

Non-Sporting Group

GCh. Vaje's Miss Jayne Hathaway, a cute female Chinese Shar-Pei won the Non-Sporting Group.

In second came a Bichon Frise named GCh. Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy. A Lhasa Apso named GCh. My Thai Ta Sen Halleluiah Chorus came in third and Keeshond named GCh. Karolina Bonnyvale Meant To Be came in fourth.

Herding

GCh. Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins, a male Bearded Collie won the Herding Group.

GCh. Sky Acres Spy Plane, a Belgian Tervuren came in second. A Border Collie named GCh. Bon-Clyde's Take One came in third, and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named GCh. Segni At Coventry came in fourth.
