Welcome from the Puddies and Me!
Published November 1, 2007
I could blog about them for hours…how cute they look when they’re sprawled all over my work at deadline time....how patient they are when I only have two hours to tickle them under the chin…how tolerant they behave when I’ve forgotten their afternoon coddled milk.
However, since space rules, let me just say WELCOME, and give you a short bio of the darlings. As for me, I’m Allia Zobel Nolan. I write cat books (see Amazon for listings) and I’m the puddies’ mother. I’ll be blogging here five times a week about everything from women who love cats too much—to the latest in cat fashions—from unraveling the mystery of the amazing traveling cat toys, to organizing a take--your-cat-to-work day—along with general blogs on male-female-cat relationships, the single-woman-with-cat stereotype, and much more. But for now, put your paws together as I introduce (drum roll please) the puddies:
McDuff
McDuff is my five-year old, 22 ½ pound Buba black shelter cat. His favorite pastimes are opening the garage door so the alarm goes off and (what fun!) the police come, eating batter from a bowl, and snoozing.
Angela
Angela is my first-born. She is a 7-year old white shelter cat who loves head-butting me at 5:00 A.M. and helping me make my bed. But she REFUSES TO OPEN HER EYES FOR PHOTOS.
Sinead
Sinead is McDuff’s shelter sister. She is a five-year old black and white cat who, after five years, is still skittish of humans, (except those bearing fillet mignon), though she loves her siblings, whom she grooms often.
