After being put out in the trash in the streets of L.A., the dog was rescued by a kind family, the Hagars, who run a non-profit organization called Hope For Paws. Fiona, now 11, has since been adopted into a forever-loving home that already had other dogs she could befriend. Though we're only a quarter of the way through 2012, Fiona's tale has become one of the feel-good stories of the year.
