Vacation Dogs

I may have mentioned that this past month, I spent a week on vacation in the mountains. What a delight! When Texas weather hit triple digits, instead I enjoyed fifty-degree nights and mid-70s during the day. Pure heaven. The worst thing, of course, was leaving pets behind. But if you’re like me, you find furry stand-ins wherever you go. This year the kitties proved too elusive to get photos, but I saw many gorgeous canines. There’s even a restaurant with an outdoor porch where the d*gs are welcome, and diligently cage French fries. Nope, I’m gonna be selfish, and not give away the location to my secret, little bit of heaven-on-earth. But feel free to share your own favorite vacation spots. Do they also include fur-kids?
