Ricochet the surf dog has raised $100,000, which has helped benefit numerous charities for those in need.
Of all the talented surf dogs you're bound to meet, perhaps none have a bigger heart than Ricochet, who has recently reached her fundraising milestone of raising $100,000 for charity.
Ricochet, whose lifestyle of "pawing it forward" began 21 months ago, has led a lifestyle dedicated to helping those in need. Over these 21 months, Ricochet has held over 40 fundraisers (mostly through Twitter and her popular Facebook page) which have helped over 150 benefits / charities dedicated to helping those in need, including those with disabilities, children and adults suffering from cancer, military veterans, and many more.
Ricochet is the only known dog in the world that surfs with children with special needs and people with disabilities for therapeutic purposes. Because of her rare talent, she has been able to participate in many water-based fundraisers, including her current fundraiser, the Helen Woodward Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon.
Despite reaching this $100,000 milestone, Ricochet is looking forward to raising more funds for those in need. For more information concerning Ricochet, including how you can donate to her cause and to keep abreast of her most current activities, visit her website.
