Actor Steven Seagal is being sued for a dog death related to the filming of his new television show, Steven Seagal: Lawman.
According to a recent report, actor Steven Seagal is being sued over the death of a dog that occurred in a home raid that was filmed for the actor's newest television show, Steven Seagal: Lawman.
The plaintiff, Jesus Sanchez Llovera, says that his 11-month old puppy was shot and killed during a raid on his Arizona home, in which Seagal and police showed up in a tank and full riot gear to investigate what they thought was an illegal cockfighting ring.
Llovera claims that he bred the roosters that were in his home for "show."
Llovera is suing Seagal and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for $100,000 to compensate for the loss of his dog and the loss of his roosters, which were also killed during the raid.
He also wants Seagal to issue a written apology to his children, explaining why they don't have their 11-month old puppy anymore.
Does Llovera have a case? Let us know what you think about this story in a comment!

Very unfortunate...feel sorry for dog but seagal is a well known animal lover,he has rescued many cats and dogs..love seagal films.
Wow! So Seagal is technically a real lawman (he has a "badge"), but he is all 99.9% about Hollywood Rating, and only .1% about Justice! He used a questionable tip (or possibly no tip at all!) to roll up on a house with a tank (!!!) and burst in guns blazing! It is NOT an illegal cock-training/fighting site because if it were then where were the blades they tape on the roosters' feet that they actually kill each other with?! If you don't know what i'M talking about then LOOK IT UP! It is a horrid, vicious "sport" that all intelligent human beings are disgusted by, but lower baser things that think they are humans love to watch - if you are human you should know your enemy so you don't blindly vilify everybody that fits in some stereotype. After all, stereotyping is often seen as simply racism or sexism or some other more hateful kind of prejudice. So, abusing his badge Seagal rolled up in a tank and shot up all living animals in the place to protect himself from attack! And after the attack there has been zero mention of fighting paraphenalia, so take Seagal's badge, his show, a lot of his money, and maybe his freedom for a span of time. That sounds like a good start.
Segal should pay every penny. This BS raid was probably done just for the TV show. That was one poorly investigated and poorly carried out raid. They killed the dog AND the roosters? Sounds to me like they went in there with guns blazing.......Apparently they all wanted to be TV stars. The person responsible for this raid should be arrested them selves.....
I only raise my asp for show. Trust me.
this is an unfortunate case.
Poor pup. how come the pup was shot dead... and the rosters as well. unbelievable how this could happen specially Segal always appear in films portraying him as a hero for the weak and for justice. what about these poor pets. why should they be harmed just for filming sake. the director/producer should be equally liable for the demise of these poor pets.
I like Steven, But he was definatly in the wrong here. I don't agree on police actions, especially since there were children in the home. It is bad enough that the animals were killed, but what if a child had gotten in the line of fire. I do believe the Police should have did more investigation and handled the matter with less force. After all they are suppose to be protecting
