Ricochet's Facebook Page with Permission
Richochetd
Yesterday, while sipping my morning coffee and checking for messages on my Facebook page, I was delighted to discover that once again Ricochet, my favorite SURFice dog, has found yet another creative and fun way to continue keeping the spirit of "pawing it forward" by helping rescue groups.
It seems that Ricochet presently has a campaign going, and is eager to learn if your cause or any others that you know of could benefit from receiving a donation to help. I think she is really onto something spectacular.
Ricochet is donating $500 to the cause/page that refers the most NEW "likes" to her page, but it is necessary to also make a NEW post on her wall, indicating what page referred you. Ricochet asks that you don’t comment on another post about who sent you, because with so many people commenting the post you comment on will get lost. Since she doesn’t want anyone to lose votes, please create a new post and make sure to identify the page that sent you!
She and her human companion got this idea from Pet Pardons when they did this last week. In fact, Ricochet's fabulous fans quickly got into the swing of things which resulted in Pet Pardons receiving the most new "likes." This helped her win $500. Of course, in the spirit of "pawing it forward," they donated it to five rescue groups more in need of the funds than they were.
So, with their typical brand of inspiration, they decided to do more and match it. The page that refers the most "likes" to Ricochet's page by Tuesday, May 10 at 5 P.M. PST, will receive a $500 donation from me, Puppy Prodigies. For folks wishing to “paw it forward”, please visit http://www.surfdogricochet.com/Facebook%20Fundraiser.htm. Your donation is tax deductible because it goes through Puppy Prodigies, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. 100 percent of your donation, (minus a nominal Pay Pal fee) will go directly to the causes.
The top referral pages will receive the funds raised, which will be distributed between them. Ricochet is hopeful that enough money will be raised that all the participants will receive adequate donations. Even the smallest donation definitely makes a big difference.
What is fabulous about this campaign is that not only does a cause in need of help get a $500 donation, but it also raises awareness for so many causes when "likers" post what page referred them. And while only two days remain, there is still plenty of time to get involved by personally “pawing it forward” to benefit this very worthy cause.
Ricochet is really smart, don’t you think? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment.

Well, I pawed it forward anyway.
Ricochet and her sister Rina- and their Mom Judy- are amazing and have raised SO much money and awareness for so many good causes!
