Reckon the Australian Shepherd Wins the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship

CH Propwash Reckon, an Australian Shepherd, known affectionately as "Reckon" by his owners, won Best in Show at the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.CH Propwash Reckon, the beautiful Australian Shepherd, known affectionately as "Reckon" by his owners, won Best in Show at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship yesterday.

With his prestigious title comes $50,000 in prize money for his owners Leslie Frank and Judy Harrington of Kensington, New Hampshire, and a year's worth of Eukanuba food for him.

"We are proud to have Reckon join the family of Best in Show winners at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship," said Show Chairman Ron Menaker.

But that's not all, held in conjunction with the dog show were the 2010 AKC National Obedience Invitational and the AKC Agility Invitational, which bring together hundreds of the country's top dogs and handlers.

A Golden Retriever known as "Buoy" was top dog in obedience while the agility winners included "Popeye" a Pomeranian, "Lilly" a Poodle, "Vixen" a Border Collie, "Scarlett" a Labrador Retriever, and "Booster" a Weimaraner, each of which did the best in their size group's course of obstacle's.

Meanwhile, Argentina's CH Alex De Akido San, a Doberman Pinscher, won the Eukanuba World Challenge, an international event showcasing top dogs form 43 countries.
