Puss in Boots from Dreamworks: The Most Interesting Cat in the World?

Is Puss in Boots, the adorable animated cat that played sidekick in the popular Shrek movies, the most interesting cat in the world? The filmmakers at DreamWorks Pictures think so, and have begun to market him as such.

With the animated film Puss in Boots set to hit the silver screen on November 4th, the folks at DreamWorks have set up an interesting viral campaign that regular television watchers will recognize as a parody to the popular Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World" commercials. There is, naturally, some adorable twists that cat-loving folks (movie-going or otherwise) are sure to enjoy.

The marketing and release for this next animated animal film comes on the heels of DreamWorks inking a high profile distribution deal with popular mail / web movie service Netflix.

DreamWorks Animation has released a series of other animated films involving animals, including the Madagascar movies, Bee Movie, and the Kung-Fu Panda film series.
