#9 My Dog Skip

Based on a true story. A lonely 9-year-old's mother buys him a dog to the chagrin of his stubborn father. The terrier soon changes the boy's life in many ways and they develop a special bond.

Why we love it: One of the dogs that plays Skip is the famous Jack Russell terrier Moose, who also played Eddie on the NBC sitcom Frasier.
