Chicago's Animal Care & Control on Oprah: Dancing Dog Blog Oprah had the director of the Chicago ACC, Cherie Travis, on her show to discuss flack the ACC has been getting for overcrowding. First of all, we're happy when any animal welfare issue gets that kind of coverage, but Dancing Dog's Mary Haight thinks the real issue - what overcrowding actually does to animals - was glossed over. I've been spending few serene extra minutes in bed, cuddling my furry Tabbie under a just-cracked window.
