Petside Digest: Cute and CuddlyPublished July 15, 2011
Disclaimer: This edition of the Petside Digest will be abundantly overloaded with irresistible animal cuteness.
Pooches in Hipster Attire: Hipster Puppies
Ever wonder what your pup's style would be if they were forced to find their way in our somewhat convoluted societal hierarchy? Maybe they'd be preppies, gangsters, hip-hoppers or, like some folks have imagined, hipsters.
That's right--there is a blog completely dedicated to dogs dressed as hipsters. And it's pretty pawesome.
Aside from their blog--which is undeniably cute--the folks over at Hipster Puppies have compiled a new book, which Petside has been able to take a look at. Check out our sneak peek of Hipster Puppies, and if you like what you see, head over there and support their radically hipster cause!
Baby Elephant Pool Party: PetSugar
What's cuter than a video of baby elephants playing in a pool getting their party on? Possibly nothing, which is why we bring you this video of that exact event happening:
What Do Dogs Dream About?: Cute Overload
To be honest, we still don't know the answer to that question, but this little French bulldog looks like he's having a grand old time, whatever it is he's dreaming about. Pretty darned cute, too, if we may say so ourselves.
Cat Guy Kicks Out Girlfriend: Catster
OK--so we all know the run down, right? When a cat guy is given the choice of keeping his cat or his girlfriend, he always chooses his cat, and this case was no exception. . .except for the whole Craigslist thing, involving an ad for his presumably now ex-girlfriend who he considers stark-raving mad for yelling at him about his cat.
While we at Petside may not condone the language of the Craigslist posting in question (which can be found on Catster's site), we will admit it's pretty comical that, at least for that night, the cat was the one with shelter. Those crazy cat guys--never know what they're going to pull next!
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Heinz
While Heinz may not be a hipster pup quite yet, she would more than likely make a great pet for anyone willing to give her a loving home. She's already taken care of medically, and all she needs is a second chance. Help Heinz find a home!
