Man Charged with Getting Dog Dangerously Drunk: ABC

In a bit of sad news, a Montana man is being charged with getting a dog dangerously drunk. By dangerously drunk, we mean that a dog may actually have been diagnosed as having acute alcohol poisoning, a feat that one veterinarian says she has never seen in over 20 years of practice.

Arly II, a Pomeranian, was found outside of a local establishment unable to walk due to severe intoxication. While the man disputes that he got the dog drunk, evidence seems to show that the intoxication was intentional; the dog was found to have a 0.348 percent blood alcohol level. To put that in perspective. a 0.4 BAC level in humans can be fatal.
