Petside's giving away $500 to promote happy and healthy living with your pet!

Overweight pets may seem cute, but don’t be fooled; pet obesity is a serious problem that can threaten your furry friend's life. Overweight pets are prone to developing serious health conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory issues and kidney disease.

To combat obesity and raise awareness about the plight of plump pets, Petside is hosting (in conjunction with NBCUniversal's Healthy Week (October 7-14) and in honor of National Pet Obesity Awareness Day (October 10)) the Healthy 'n' Happy Sweepstakes to promote healthy living with your pet! To help get you started in the right direction, we're giving away $500 to put towards your pet's health.

Enter the sweepstakes once a day from September 28 to October 19 (the next three weeks!) and give yourself 22 chances to win the $500 prize. Upon entry, you'll also receive free advice on keeping your furry friend healthy and happy and how to combat obesity on the home front.
