Dear Dr.Lauren, First let me say thank you for having this site; it help when your a little short with cash but love your pets and want to care for them. My Daughter has had a cat for the last yr. since she went off to college and he is up to date on shots and fixed also he is an inside cat,Lionel is 15 lbs. Recently she got a baby kitten who had/may still have tape worms she has not had the extra money for his first kitten visit so she tried a home remedy found online: Yogurt and Cloves 4 xs a day for 5 days. It seems to be working cause the worms are still not showing up but Lionel the big cat has had Diarreah for a week. She gave him(Lionel) some cloves just in case but he did not like the yogurt. Also, he is back on his reg. food which is Purina indoor cat chow garden/grains but he was eating kitten food with the kitten for a few weeks. Im not sure what it could be with all the diffrent factors going on but I spent the night with her and the poor cat (Lionel) is going 4 to 8 x's a day. What can she do until we get the money up for the Vet visit? Thank You Dr. Lauren for any help you can give. Sincerly Laleh L. at lalehpop18@yahoo.com
