Mean Kitty Video: Kitty Chiropractor

Published April 12, 2012

Cory Williams of Mean Kitty Fame demonstrates his cat's chiropractic prowess.

Most cat people get excited and are thoroughly delighted whenever a new kitty video is released. As long as it has merit and is highly entertaining, thousands of emails start circulating, in a flash across the internet to make sure that all our kitty friends don’t miss out on all the fun.

My favorites are those videos created by folks who truly appreciate feline nature and also grasp the intricacies of cats’ mysterious and fascinating behavior. And as I sit watching, chuckling out loud, I often find myself wishing I could share some of these short cinematic productions with our cats, especially when the featured kitty’s antics are so incredibly similar to theirs. At times, I gotta tell you, it’s very frustrating to me.

Speaking about cat videos, I hate to admit it, but I started getting extremely jealous as I was watching the latest video made by one of the most inventive cat video makers, Cory Williams of Mean Kitty Fame.

Starring Sparta, his beloved and extraordinarily talented kitty, in the scenario, Cory demonstrates his fabulous feline’s chiropractic prowess. Since I am frequently plagued with a sore neck and shoulder pain from sitting at the computer for hours every day, I often long for the healing touch of a tender massage.

With a dark black cloud hanging over my head, I thought to myself, “If Sparta possesses such innate talent as a massage therapist, our two highly intelligent and sensitive kitties; Dr. Hush Puppy and Sir Hubble Pinkerton must somewhere in the deep recesses of their brain have what it takes to replicate Sparta’s technique. After all it obviously greatly enhances Cory’s life.”

Now if I can only get them to just sit still, watch the video, grasp its content and fully comprehend what I am trying to teach them, my problems with aching muscles will soon be a thing of the past.

But you will have to watch the enchanting video uploaded to YouTube by TheMeanKitty to fully understand what I have been rambling about.

On the other hand, purrhaps I am asking too much of them. These kitties give me so much pleasure and joy; I’m thinking it’s probably time for me to seek the services of a professional human masseuse. What do you think? Share in a comment.

Love Sparta and Loki, and agree Cory is nice eye candy! I miss my cats sleeping with me, but it got to the point I wasn't getting enough sleep to get through my workday...strangely enough they didn't object much at all! A couple warm meows at 4:30 am are my wake up call....and I'm much more rested for my INSANE job!

I agree, Elizabeth. Cory is some pretty nice eye candy. And I LOVE Sparta and Loki. Anytime I watch one of their videos, it makes my day. My kitties love to lie on my. I usually sleep with Esther snuggled up to one side, Tallulah snuggled on the other side, Marbles on my back and CJ Sobol on my feet. I can't move, and I wake up stiff, but who cares. They were comfy all night. :)

Our cats love to lay on our backs and keep them toasty warm. Miss Mouse specializes in hip therapy. She will lay on my arthritics hip and seems to know when it has had enough warm pressure treatment. Sabu loves to lay on the small of my back right where the back spasms start. The vribrating purr mode is very relaxing. Smart cats.

It doesn't get much better than that! Waking up this morning, I thought the same thing, being warmed and comforted by cats up one side and down the other :)

Well, that kitty doesn't look so mean to me.In fact, he looks like quite a ham. But the video is so cute. Thanks for sharing with us.

That was quite a purr that chiropractor had going on there! Thanks for alerting us to the new Mean Kitty video, Jo! I love them too and it doesn't hurt that Corey is pretty easy to look at as well.
