A 22-year-old Chicago man and a 13-year-old boy stand accused of animal torture.
The 22-year-old, Joshua Moore, and the 13-year-old juvenile were arrested when people alerted authorities after finding the disturbing videos on YouTube, which showed the pair abusing dogs.
The videos showed varying degrees of violence and psychological torture to the dogs and puppies. In one video, the man and boy can be seen tossing small puppies into the air and letting them drop. In another, they practice a cruel form of psychological torture, hiding a mother's puppies from her.
Police were able to track down the suspects as they allegedly identified themselves by name in the YouTube videos. Additionally, the 22-year-old bore distinctive tattoos that helped police match him to the disturbing YouTube posts. Upon their arrests, the dogs were brought into protective custody.
For their participation in the animal torture, Moore was charged with eight counts of animal cruelty and four counts of animal torture, while the juvenile was charged with six counts of animal cruelty and three counts of animal torture.
We're not really sure why anyone would commit these torturous acts, let alone make YouTube videos dedicated to it.
