Kitten Training Tips: Why Are Kittens Easier To Train?
Kittens are easier to train because they haven't developed many of the bad habits of older cats, and they are quick and eager to learn.
Kitten Training Tips: When Should You Start Training Your Kitten?
When training your kitten, don't start too early. Very young kittens should stay with their mothers until they are at least 8 weeks old and they shouldn't begin training before they've left their mother.
Kitten Training Tips: When You Begin Training...
When you do begin training kittens, make sure you don't do too much when you begin your training regimen. Kittens learn quickly, but if you train them for too long at each session they may get tired quickly, or come to resent the training. If you're training a new behavior, such as running, jumping, or rolling for cat agility training, only train for a few minutes at a time or until your cat does the behavior correctly two or three times in a row.
Don't tire out your kitten, or become too repetitive in your training, but get them used to training so you can train for longer periods as they grow older.

my Happy is about a year old... I rescued him from a kid whose was throwing him on the ground when he was a baby.. maybe 10 weeks old.. he appears to be part tabby & part siamese.. I also have 2 little yorkies and I have to keep him separated from them.. because he bites them.. they would love to play with him if he didn't bite... I had to take one to the vet for a bite... do I gently hit him on the head... this cat is smart .. he minds like a dog.. help...
My litten is about two months old. All she does is eat, sleep, use the litter box and play as all kittens do. But when she plays it's a bit too rough and I would like it to stop. Squirt bottles and physical behavioral treatments don't seem to work. She just runs off and comes right back for more. I don't know what to do. My boyfriend and I have scratched up legs and hands. She's a nuisance but we don't want to get rid of her. What do we do?
