Join the Bichon Bash

Published March 15, 2010

Last week you learned how you could help feral cats in Brooklyn, NY by purchasing a fashionable tee.

This week you can help Small Paws Rescue in a big way. Romeo the Cat is collecting donations for the Bichon rescue in its first ever Bichon Bash for Bailey.

Bailey was a courageous Bichon Frise that lost her valiant fight with cancer. She touched the hearts of blog readers and taught them just how strong those little bundles of fur can be.

Romeo the Cat chose Small Paws as this month's featured rescue due to its efforts to save, place, and care for Bichons nationwide. The non-profit has rescued more than 7,500 Bichons in 11 years from animal shelters, puppy mills, and surrenders.

"Romeo" put together this video to kick off the Bichon Bash. Enjoy! And remember, no donation is too small. Just $1 makes a difference.
