Jack the Cat, who was lost by baggage handlers in JFK Airport, is still missing.
Jack the Cat, the cat who was lost in the American Airlines baggage area of John F. Kennedy Airport, is still missing. His owner, Karen Pascoe, has been without her feline friend since August 25, with this Thursday (tomorrow, September 15) marking the third full week that he will be missing.
Since that time, Pascoe has formed an army of dedicated Facebook fans and Twitter followers, all pulling together and joining forces to try to find Jack.
This morning, the Facebook page for Jack the Cat posted a new note stating that there will be an even more extensive full scale search happening this weekend at the airport than there already is, marked with fliers and participants from both local people and out-of-towners.
These latest search efforts are being implemented on top of measures being taken by the Port Authority of New York, which have also signed on to help in Jack's search.
If you are interested in helping find Jack the Cat, please visit their Facebook page, and find out what you can do to help!
Even though it's been three weeks, we're still holding out hope that Jack the Cat will make it home!
Do you still think Jack the Cat will be found? Has anyone helped aid in the search for Jack? Let us know in a comment!

Thanks so much for writing about Jack! Praying he will be found soon!
The more people who know about Jack, the quicker someone might see him and the quicker he can be reunited with his Mommy! Spread the word!! Visit Jack’s Facebook page and like!!
Please, everyone, go to Jacks page and like, the more people who know about Jack, the more who can spot him. Plus the more we can get AA to change their Pet policies. Their word is, "he will come out eventually" This is atrocious!
Sadly, one of the organizations who could help most in this search is American Airlines and they are citing security concerns in not allowing a proper search. Cats are unique in their ability to conceal themselves in strange places. Given proper access, Jack would be found sooner rather than later.
Go to jacks page and like the more people who know the better. we will find jack!!!
We KNOW Jack will be found! We are doing all we can to spread the word to as any as possible. The more eyes that are looking, the more chance of finding him soon. The search did not find Jack but they got a lot of fliers out and a lot more are helping! Please join his FB page and SHARE it with your wall! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jack-The-Cat-is-Lost-in-AA-Baggage-at-JFK/...
