Hypnotic

My new client Rex takes the concept of “canine supermodel” beyond any dog I’ve met. I’ve worked with cute, gorgeous, beautiful, adorable, and endearingly ugly dogs (one catfish-faced dog named Zeke comes to mind), but never before have I worked with a dog I’d call “arresting.” Rex strolled in the room and glanced towards me, and all I could say was, “Wow!” Take a look … wouldn’t you agree? Absolutely stunning. Rex made me laugh, though, because he had a habit of shutting his eyes right as I snapped a photo, just like people do. So I ended up with quite a few of these: When he looked at the camera full-on and didn’t blink, the guy leveled me with those eyes. Rex’s sister cat, Maggie, was all, “Yeah, whatever. He’s gorgeous. Who cares. Give me another hot dog, Lady.” (Yes, I’ve welcomed yet another hot dog eating cat into the fold! That makes 3 in my current roster – an all-time high!)
