Dog and Handler perform personalized routines choreographed to music. The routines consist of dance, tricks and obedience. Freestyle demonstrates the skills, training and ability of both dog and trainer. Musical Freestyle has been a dog sport since about 1989.

Gymnasts perform personalized routines choreographed to music. The routines consist of dance, tumbling, turns, leaps, and other gymnastic skills. Gymnastics has been an Olympic sport since 1896.
