Doggie Plush Toys Have Less Stuffing, More Squeak
Published March 30, 2009
Our three-year-old dog was thrilled when we brought him home a puppy friend, but none of us were thrilled when the puppy shredded all his favorite soft toys and ingested half the stuffing. So there was much rejoicing (and doggie tug-of-war) when we found Kong's World's Best Dr. Noys' Material Dog Toys.
The soft toys are plenty plump for chewing, but with minimal stuffing - certain toys like the duck and squirrel we purchased actually have no loose stuffing at all. The middle of each toy is "stuffed" with a fleece pouch with a Velcro closure.
If your dog bites out the squeak (that's our older dog's trademark), each Dr. Noys' toy comes with extra squeaks that are easy to insert in the pouch. Dr. Noys' Material Dog Toys are available for $3.99-9.99. And if you need still more squeakers, those are just $1.99 for six.
