Is Dog Eating Grass Sick?

Q: My dog has been eating grass and plants in my home recently. Is he missing something in his diet?

A:strong> There are many reasons why dogs may eat grass and plant material. Dogs are omnivores meaning that they do require fiber in their diets. Grass and plants are a great source of fiber! Some dogs may eat grass out of boredom. Eating grass is only harmful if the grass has just been treated with a chemical or a fertilizer. Some household plants can be very toxic to pets so be sure to find out which one you need to keep away from your pet!

Go to a Vet to find out what could be wrong, it may be nothing, but piece of mind is worth it. Dogs just don't stop eating unless something is wrong...catch the problem early and save hundreds of dollars
