A: Probably the most important thing for these pets would be keeping them safe. It is important to keep pets like yours away from stairs where she could fall and hurt herself. It is also a good idea to keep your pet confined, even to a crate, while you are not supervising her. This is to ensure her wellbeing! If you are still taking her for walks, use a harness. This gives you more control of your pet and may make her feel safer. She should not be allowed outside without a leash since she cannot react to oncoming traffic or other dangers.
