To make this cute and comfortable pet accessory, first cut out colorful petals, secure them together with glue, then attach them to your pet’s existing collar. Read on for full how-to instructions.
- Assorted colors of felt
- Fabri-tac glue ($8.50 from Amazon)
- Pet Collar
Step 1: Cut three X shapes from different colors of felt, making each slightly smaller in size than the last.
Step 2: Use Fabri-tac adhesive to tack the ends of each X down in the center to create flower shapes.
Step 3: Stack flower shapes so that the smallest is on top, then glue together to secure.
Step 4: Use scissors to cut a slit through the middle of each of the 12 petals. Fringe a ¾” wide strip of felt, add a line of glue along the base, then roll it up to form the flower’s center; glue in place on the flower.
Step 5: Glue the completed flower to the center of a 1” wide felt strip, then wrap the strip around the collar and glue it together to secure. (The loop should slide around the collar freely.)
Step 6: Once dry, put the embellished collar on your dog or cat’s neck!
