Handlers throw a disc to their dogs. The dogs and handlers compete in either distance catching or choreographed catching. Disc Dog has been a sport since the early 1970's.

Olympic Sport

 

Discus

Athletes throw a heavy disc. The athlete who throws the discus furthest wins. Discus as been an Olympic sport since 1896
