Could you find any two more opposite dogs than a Mastiff and Chihuahua? Probably not--and you probably wouldn't have predicted they'd be the best of pals...well, sort of.
It looks more like taunting, but in the classic match-up of big dog vs. little dog Dude the Chihuahua runs circles around this Mastiff named Maggie...literally. And for the most part, Maggie is pretty calm about it...kind of.

The potential for harm to the smaller dog far out weights the so called "cute" concept. I know of a chihuahua who had its head bitten off by an annoyed pit bull, who was very friendly and caring. The chi went near the diner bowl of the larger dog and was unable to defend or retreat to save its life. This is not very considerate of the owner/s.
