Confessions of a Cat Burglar

Published April 1, 2008
I have a confession to make. After many years of ‘pretending’ to be a writer and creating original ideas and content for countless articles, columns, books and websites--I’m a fraud. I’ve been relying on the creative genius of somebody else. See, the true author cares nothing for publicity or accolades wouldn’t know what to do with money if it snuck up and bit them. So I’ve been flat-out ripping ‘em off with the true artist none the wiser, for years and years. This goes beyond “borrowing” a well-turned phrase or two, and is better characterized as downright THEFT. But they say confession is good for the soul, and I’ve decided to turn myself in, publicly “out” myself and take my punishment. So for one and all, below you’ll find a picture of the affronted party--you can see she’s old-school and not into computers (another reason I could so easily burgle-the-cat-content). APRIL FOOLS!
