Check MEOWT: Cute Tee For Great Cause

I've checked it out and I'm lovin' it. This Check MEOWT tee is not only adorable and has to find its way into my wardrobe ASAP, but it's also for a good cause. The trendy shirt was designed by Feral For Life, an organization which supports the efforts of Brooklyn, NY's independent cat rescuers. Proceeds from the shirts are used to purchase food and other necessities for adoptable strays, as well as to buy feed for feral cat colonies in Brooklyn. Now, I don't live, work, or well, ever venture into Brooklyn, but I find the hard work of colony caretakers too hard to ignore. Feral cats live difficult lives in sometime harsh environments. If they survive kitten years, most feral cats only live until about 2-years-old. There are about 90 million feral cats in the U.S. battling weather extremes, starvation and disease. But, if lucky enough to find a colony with a designated caretaker, a feral cat can live a better life. Caretakers provide food, water, medical care and spay/neuter services to the cats, which greatly improves their lives and chances for survival. Each shirt costs $25.
