Viral cat videos are the product of long-term planning at Kittywood Studios.

Cat videos with millions of clicks may seem spontaneous, but according to the great minds at Kittywood Studious, there's a lot more to viral kitten videos than a camera and a cat.

For instance, during protests of "No more boxes!" in the writer's room, Kittywood's head writer is seen saying, "If you don't want to do your job and put Maru in a box, I'll find someone who can."

Then there's storyboarding, CGI, puppetry, and dueling egos.
