Cat Saves Owner’s Life Hours after Adoption

Adopted cat, Pudding, prevents a major catastrophe and saves his owner's life hours after being adopted!
Jung and her young son Ethan originally went to the Door County Humane Society to play with the cats and had no intention of adoption, the Green Bay Press Gazette reports. When Jung laid eyes on Pudding and learned that the cat had been in and out of shelters since 2003, however, she knew she needed to bring the cute cat home.
The two new additions to the family, as Jung also adopted Pudding’s pal Whimsy, took little time adjusting to their new home, Jung recalls, acting as if they had always lived there.
Yet, hours later after she had gone to bed, Jung’s day took a drastic turn. Diagnosed with diabetes since childhood, Jung began to have a diabetic seizure in her sleep.
This was when Pudding sprang into action.
Jung told the Gazette that her fearless feline began biting at her nose and pawing at her chest and face—doing anything to pull her out of the seizure. Luckily for Jung, Pudding’s tactics worked.
When Ethan Jung failed to hear his mother’s calls for help, Pudding came to the rescue again, jumping on Ethan’s bed to wake him up so that he could call for help.
Jung and her doctors do not believe she would be alive today if it was not for Pudding.
Because of Pudding’s keen instincts of when his companion is in danger, Jung is in the process of registering Pudding as a therapy animal. Not only did Pudding save Jung’s life once, but he is well on his way to preventing such an incident from happening again as he has learned to sit by Jung’s feet and meow when he senses her blood sugar may be low.
What an amazing story! What do you think about Pudding’s heroic actions? Share your thoughts in a comment below.

Such animal is an angel God sent.
What an "AMAZING and "MIRACULOUS" story of this GOD GIVEN CAT! We as HUMANS MUST COME TO RESPECT THEM MORE AND MORE AND "UNDERSTAND" MORE OF THEIR PURPOSE IN OUR LIVES!
Marvelous story--I have no doubt many cats can (and do) similar if we paid more attention. One of my former students has a diabetic-alert service dog that alerts to smell of the breath and cats have just as sensitive scent sense. Kudos to Pudding!
what an amazing kitty!!! and i LOVE that Jung took in this sweetie pie who had been homeless since 2003! poor pudding but in good hands now! LOVE!
