Bringing The World Together: Feline and Canine Style

The other day I received this touching photo which has recently been widely circulating between animal lovers via the Internet. It sure is easy to understand why. I think we will agree that often a picture is worth more than a thousand words. This beautiful snapshot conveys a message which really needs no lengthy explanation. And as I gazed at the picture, I was immediately struck by the love and trust displayed in the relationship between the napping dog and cat, which to me poignantly illustrates the potential for love and trust in our world. So in the spirit of Valentine's Day, celebrated tomorrow, February 14, I offer this photo as my Valentine Day card to you. What can we learn from our pets about unconditional love?
