When it comes to our pets, it really doesn’t take much to keep them happy. Your basic food and water, some walks and lots of love—that’s all they really seem to ask for. Having said that, it never hurts to have a little back up, especially when we have a health question, a grooming concern … or even if we’re just wondering how we can calm our pets down when they’re upset or riled up.
Along those lines, here are our 10 favorite phone apps for pet-lovers. So whether you own an android or are holding out for the new iPhone 5, you’re one click away on your smartphone from becoming an even more awesome pet-owner—if that’s possible.
PetVet & Pet First Aid
As any pet owner will know, it can be scary when our pets get injured and we aren’t sure how to fix it. That’s where Pet First Aid comes in. This reference provides information about treating cuts and bruises, as well as if your pet should choke or need CPR. The videos and step-by-step illustrations make the directions really easy to follow. Petside's own PetVet app also helps you diagnose animals under the weather right at home.
Pet Master
This organizing app helps you keeps tabs on everything related to your pet’s health. Use Pet Master to track Fido’s personal information, like his birthday, registration, microchip info, weight and breed. You’ll also find it easy to store your pet’s vet information, medications and allergy information in the app, along with records of any of his upcoming vet appointments so you never miss one.
iKibble
Let’s be honest—it’s extremely tough to avoid giving our furry friends some table scraps from time-to-time. Luckily, with the iKibble app, you’ll never have to worry again which foods are good or bad for your dog to eat. iFindToto

iLocate Pet Grooming
Word of mouth is always best, of course, but if that’s not working out for ya, try out the iLocate Pet Grooming app, which allows you to find a pet grooming service in your neighborhood and contact them … all in one touch.
OffLeash
