Abused Kittens Found Mutilated in PennsylvaniaPublished September 29, 2011
Today we bring grim animal abuse related news hailing from the Philadelphia area.
According to NBC's Philadelphia affiliate, seven dead kittens were found on the property of a woman from Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The report is grisly; it says that three of the seven kittens were found disemboweled and dismembered .
Truly, the story is unfathomable. The lower half of a kitten was found in the woman's trash can, and another was found with blunt force head trauma on the woman's porch. Yet another was found completely disemboweled.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of death for each kitten.
Since the actions are obvious acts of animal cruelty, the case is being investigated by Chester County SPCA's Animal Protective Services.
Really, this entire month has been mired with these types of cases. And yet, we cannot understand: what are people thinking?
