Griffin, the newest V.P. of Canine Communications for P&G Pet Care, helped engineer a $10,000 donation to America's VetDogs.
Recently, IAMS reached out to Petside readers and asked them to help name the newest ambassador for P&G Pet Care, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen in the midst of an identity crisis. At the same time, an initiative was launched to help raise money for the organization America’s VetDogs, with P&G Pet Care making a donation of $1,000 for every name suggestion to the organization.
Since that time, the process to name the newest member of the P&G family has come to a close. After a total of 4,900 names suggested and a total of 2,320 votes cast between June 29 and July 18, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen finally has a name; after combining the two clear-cut favorite names, “Griffin” and “Pawl,” the new name of P&G’s newest V.P. of Canine Communications will be “Pawl Griffin.” He will be affectionately known as “Griffin.”
Due to the high involvement on behalf of Petside’s readers and pet lovers scattered throughout cyberspace, P&G and "Pawl Griffin" have decided to make a full donation of $10,000 to America’s VetDogs.

And this would be the same P&G that still tests on animals?
